Telehealth Psychiatry: How Stillpoint Brings Care to All of Virginia

Living in Virginia—whether in bustling Richmond, quiet Southwest farms, or coastal Tidewater—you deserve mental health care that fits your life.

At Stillpoint Integrative Psychiatry and Wellness, I’m Andrew Jecklin, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) based in Virginia with over 25 years in healthcare.

Through telehealth, I bring my integrative approach to you, wherever you are in the Commonwealth.

Here’s how it works and why it might be your next step.

Care Without the Commute

Virginia’s big—stretching from Appalachian trails to urban sprawl—and not everyone can drive to Harrisonburg for a session.

Telehealth changes that.

With a secure video call, we meet from your home, office, or wherever you’re comfortable. My 75-90 minute initial consultations happen online, just as they do in-person, giving you the same deep dive into your mental health—symptoms, goals, and all—from Roanoke to Norfolk.

A Blend of Science and Wellness

As a PMHNP-BC with prescribing authority in Virginia, I offer evidence-based care—think medication management for anxiety or depression—backed by 25 years in healthcare. But my  years in nutritional and holistic health add a twist.

Via telehealth, we might pair a prescription with diet tips or stress tools, tailored to your Virginia life—whether you’re juggling kids in Charlottesville or work in Virginia Beach.

Follow-ups keep us connected, no travel needed.

Why Telehealth Fits Virginia

This state’s diversity—rural quiet, city pace, coastal calm—means mental health needs vary.

Telehealth lets me reach you wherever you are.

A farmer in Wytheville might need mood support for long winters; a NoVA professional might want anxiety relief without traffic hassles.

With decades of experience, I’ve seen it all, and telehealth makes it work.

All you need is a device and internet—rural broadband’s growing, and I’m here to meet you on it.

How It Starts

It’s simple: book online, get a link, and we talk.

That first 75-90 minute session digs into what’s on your mind, just like you were in my office in Lynchburg and Harrisonburg.

My RN roots taught me to listen, my holistic past adds practical ideas, and my PMHNP skills bring precision.

We’ll craft a plan—meds, lifestyle shifts, or both—that fits your corner of Virginia. Insurance? Look here to see if you’re covered. Self-pay is also welcome.

Is Telehealth for You?

Not everyone’s a fit (see Who We’re Not a Fit For). If you want quick fixes or in-person only, I might not be your match.

But if you’re anywhere in Virginia and crave integrative care—science plus soul—telehealth with Stillpoint could click.

From Harrisonburg’s Shenandoah Valley to your screen, I bring 25 years of insight to you.

This place is amazing. The psychiatrist that I see is awesome. He really listens to concerns. Always gets back to you fairly quick if you send a message also. I wasn’t use to that at my previous Dr. I switched from them to Stillpoint because they had many providers there and they were constantly leaving and I got shuffled around quite a bit and was tired of getting use to one person then the next time I go I might not see them anymore. So there is stability at this office and that’s what I needed. Thanks again for all the help!! I would highly recommend trying them out, you won’t go wrong here!

I’ve been to multiple doctors and psychiatrists, Dr. Andrew has been the first one to actually listen to my needs and execute a plan for medication management!!

Andrew has been awesome. After searching for a new psychiatrist in a pinch, he was able to get me in and on a new treatment plan fairly quickly. He listened to my exact needs and was able to find medications to help me immediately. He is very responsive and knowledgeable.

After floating between different psychiatrist for years, Andrew has truly been a breath of fresh air. He actually cares about you as a patient and is not just in it for the money. He quickly responds to all my emails and has great availability with appointments. Definitely would recommend him to anyone.

I had never been to a psychiatrist before meeting Andrew. I was drawn to him for his holistic approach, as I am not a fan of taking medication unless I absolutely need to. I was nervous my first visit but from the very get go, Andrew made the entire process super comfortable and easy. I felt not only heard but understood. I left that first visit looking forward to my next. Would 100% recommend.

I have had an amazing experience with Dr. Jecklin! He is very flexible with availability, is quick to answer emails and messages (which is imperative for a psychiatrist), has tons of knowledge in his field, and truly cares about his patients and their successes. Not only is Dr. Jecklin empathetic and understanding, but he has your best interest, allowing his patients to start with supplements that benefit their health and wellness, to prescribing necessary medications for his patients success. I would recommend Dr. Jecklin’s practice to anyone, due to his wonderful personality and expertise!

Andrew has been very helpful over the last few months by creating a comprehensive treatment plan with a holistic approach. I have felt heard and liked the fact that I was not immediately prescribed something, but was given lifestyle change recommendations and supplements to support my needs. Would definitely recommend!
